This series of science videos was born out of the ever increasing dependence of our everyday lives on science and technology allied with the ever decreasing apparent understanding and appreciation of the general public. This latter aspect is highlighted by the disturbing increase in the interference of mystical ideas into all aspects of everyday life including most dangerously - politics.

	Climate Change (Global Warming and Ozone Depletion): F. Sherwood Rowland - Science Video Interview. Video recorded in 2006.  Sherwood Rowland was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1995 for work in atmospheric chemistry, particularly concerning the formation and decomposition of  Ozone.  In this interview Rowland chose to talk about two issues: Ozone and Global Warming.
	Malaria - Professor Andrew Spielman - Science Video.: Environmentally Friendly Intervention and Long-term Sustainable Solutions for the Control of Malaria Video recorded in 2004.  Professor of Tropical Public Health, Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at Harvard School of Public Health is one of the world’s experts on vector born infections such as malaria and dengue which constitute a heavy and increasing burden on human health throughout much of the tropics.
	Science is Knowledge and Knowledge is Power: A Video Discussion With Tony Benn Video recorded in 2005.  In a lively and entertaining interview, former UK Minister for Science Tony Benn discusses the interaction between scientists and politicians in an interview with Sir Harry Kroto.
